Un disco excelente y muy complejo a la vez. Un cambio muy positivo en esta banda, aunque se extraña un poco de la brutalidad de sus anteriores discos. En conclusión: Un álbum increíblemente completo y magnifico. De verdad deben escucharlo!.

An excelent and really complex CD. A very positive change in this band,  although I miss a little of the brutality of their past albums. In conclusion: An incredibly complete and magnific album. You really have to listen to it!.

Opeth - Heritage (2011)

Cambio total en el sonido de Opeth, dejando totalmente afuera las voces guturales y enfocandose más al sonido progresivo que ya venian mostrandonos previamente. Esto es lo que llama una gran banda, a pesar de los cambios en el genero, su escencia sigue intacta, siguen siendo ellos. Muy pocas bandas pueden hacer esto sin fracasar. En mi opinion, señoritas y señores, este disco es una hermosa joya.


Total change in Opeth's sound, leaving the gutural voices aside totally and focusing more on the progressive sound that they had been showing us previously. This is what I call a great band, in spite of the genre's changes, their essence is intact there, they're still them. Very few bands can do this without failing. In my opinion, ladies and gentleman, this album is a beautifil jewel.

Katatonia - Dead End Kings (2012)

¿Qué más se puede decir de una banda como Katatonia?. Siempre hay calidad en sus discos y este no es la excepción, es un album hermoso, obscuro, melancolico y elegante. Todo al mismo tiempo. Muy recomandable.


What else can we say about a band like Katatonia?. There's always high quality in all their works, and this album is not the exception, is beatiful, dark, melancholic and elegant. All at the same time. Highly recommended.

Metallica - S&M (1999)

S&M es un disco en vivo con un repertorio de canciones que van desde el disco Ride the Lightning (1984) al Reload (1997), acompañado por una orquesta dirigida por Michael Kamen y el ultimo grabado con Jason Newsted en la banda. Un disco con un sonido bastante especial por mezclar esos arreglos armónicos con la música de Metallica. Buen álbum.

S&M is a live album with a tracklist that goes from the album Ride the Lightning (1984) to Reload (1997), accompained by an orchestra conducted by Michael Kamen and the last one with Jason Newsted in the band.  A disc with a very special sound because it mixes classical armonies with Metallica's music. Great album.

Kreator - Violent Revolution (2001)

Con este álbum la banda liderada por Mille Petrozza, vuelve a la carga y a ese sonido tan intenso y fuerte que tenían en sus discos en 90's. Se vuelven a levantar para recordarle a su público quienes son en realidad, integrándose de nuevo a la escena del trash actual con un éxito absoluto. Si antes bajaron la intensidad, con este disco compensan todo ese periodo y se renuevan. Un gran clásico del trash.

With this album the band leaded by Mille Petrozza, go back to the charge again with that intense and strong sound that they had in the 90's. They get up again to remind their public who they really are, incorporating themselves to the new trash metal scene with an absoult success. If they got the intensity of the music down before, with this album they compensate all that period and renew their sound. A big classic of thash metal.

Iced Earth - Night of the Stormrider (1992)

Este es el único álbum de la banda que se grabó con el vocalista John Greely (que fue despedido más tarde) y el baterista Rick Secchiari. Ciertamente una de las piezas clave que los llevaría a ser una de las bandas más famosas del trash metal, gracias a ese sonido más poderoso y consolidado. Una verdadera joya.


This is the only album of the band recorded with the vocalist John Greely (who was fired later on) and the baterist Rick Secchiari. Indeed one of the finest pieces that would take this guys to be one of the most famouse trash metal bands, thanks to that powerful and more consolidated sound. Really a master piece.

Arch Enemy - War Eternal (2014)

Nueva y última entrega de Arch Enemy, en esta ocasión Angela Gossow pasa la antorcha a Alissa White-Gluz (ex vocalista de The Agonist) para tomar su lugar como front-woman y vocalista de la banda. Un disco que sin duda traerá consigo mucho controversia. En mi opinión personal Alissa White-Gluz no me gusta para aportar su voz a esta banda, su estilo es muy diferente, y a pesar de hacer su mejor esfuerzo no se puede comparar con la agresividad que Angela irradiaba. La música es buena aún, pero de pronto siento como si la banda quisiera adaptarse a la capacidad vocal de Alissa...las ideas se van terminando y estos chicos necesitaran más que riffs pegajosos y las armonías de siempre para satisfacer el gusto de un público exigente.



New and last work from Arch Enemy, in this occasion Angela Gossow give the torch to Alissa White-Gluz (ex vocalist from The Agonist) to take her place as the front-woman and vocalist of the band. An album that surely will bring controversy with it. In my personal opinion, I don't like Alissa White-Gluz to contribute with her voice to this band, her style is very different, and in spite of doing her best effort, she can't be compared with the aggressiveness that Angela irradiated. The music is good still, but suddenly I feel as if the band wanted to adapt to the vocal capacity of Alissa...the ideas are beginning to end and this guys will need more than catchy riffs and the armonies of always to satisfy the taste of an exigent public.

Kittie - Oracle (2001)

Disco realizado después de la salida de la guitarrista Fallon Bowman, quedando sólo las hermanas Morgan y Mercedes Lander junto con Talena Atfield, dándole un sonido más definido, agresivo y solido a la banda dentro del mundo del metal, ya que Morgan introduce los guturales a su estilo vocal, y la música suena más poderosa que antes. Uno de los mejores trabajos de esta banda.

Album realeased after the quit of Fallon Bowman, only remaining the sisters, Morgan and Mercedes Lander with Talena Atfield, giving to the sound of the band, a more defined, agressive and solid sound inside the metal world because Morgan introduced the gutural voice to her vocal style, and the music sounds even more powerful. One of the best works from these band.

Arch Enemy - Wages of Sin (2001) (2 CD's)

Albúm en el que debuto como vocalista Angela Gossow , despues de la salida de Johan Liiva, que marco el inicio de una nueva era para la banda. Esto causo sus dudas y una gran polemica entre los fans, pero al final Gossow fue aceptada en su mayoria al demostrar sus habilidades vocales para el death metal con su ya famosa y conocida agresiva voz gutural. Definitivamente un albúm que no debe faltar en tu colección si te gusta el death metal melodico. Esta es la versión con 2 CD's que incluye el album 'Wages of Sin' y un disco de rarezas y canciones previamente no realizadas.


Album where Angela Gossow debuts as a vocalist after the quit from Johan Liiva, that clearly marks a whole new era for the band. This caused doubts and a big polemic among the fans, but in the end Gossow was mostly accepted by them when she proved her death metal vocal skills with her famous and well known agressive gutural voice. Definitely is an album that can't be missed in your collection if you love melodic death metal. This is a double CD version that includes the 'Wages of Sin' album and a bonus disc with rare and previously unrealesed tracks.

Megadeth - Killing is my Business...and Business is Good! (1985)

Álbum debut de una de las bandas más grandes del trash metal, la cual fue formada por Dave Mustaine después de que este fuese despedido de Metallica. Un disco con bastante fuerza y agresividad, que refleja muy bien el resurgir como ave fénix de un Mustaine furioso y con hambre de destrucción. Muy recomendable.


Debut album from one of the biggest trash metal bands, wich was formed by Dave Mustaine after being kicked out of Metallica. It's a CD with so much strenght and aggressiveness, it reflects very well the revival as a phoenix from a very furious and hungry for destruction Mustaine. I recommend it highly.
